<lido:descriptiveNoteValue>Printed in the late 19th century.

Printed in a single color, the text in Church Slavonic, set within a narrow ornamental frame of trefoil motifs with small branches in the corners. Pagination appears in the upper outer corners of the pages. The book's ornamentation is complemented by headpieces, tailpieces, and a full-page engraving with the subject "The Holy Guardian Angel."

The book consists of leaves taken from another edition, hand-sewn with sturdy thread and bound in a homemade cover made of pink-red cardboard.

The book was acquired by the museum from Volodymyr Stepanovych Cherviakov of Kharkiv in 1979.

Note: an akathist is a church hymn glorifying the Mother of God, Jesus Christ, angels, or saints.</lido:descriptiveNoteValue>
