Його стегна огорнуті білою пеленою, навколо голови - золотаве сяйво. У нижній частині картини праворуч зображено руку, кілька цвяхів, молоток, обценьки, терновий вінець, драбину, розгорнутий сувій з написом "I.N.R.I" ("Ісус Назарянин, Цар Юдейський"), золоту чашу, спис. На хресті, у його нижній частині, поміщене зображення півня біля букета квітів. Легенда: Ікона "Христос - Недремне око" (або "Недрімане око") - це глибокий алегоричний образ у християнському мистецтві, який символізує неустанне Боже піклування про світ, а також поєднує у собі теми земного втілення, майбутньої мученицької смерті та Воскресіння Ісуса Христа. Legend: the icon "Christ, the Unsleeping Eye" (or "the Sleepless Eye") is a profound allegorical image in Christian art, symbolizing God's unceasing care for the world, and combining the themes of the earthly incarnation, the future martyr's death, and the Resurrection of Jesus Christ.
