Його руки опущені, ноги перехрещені, над головою хрещатий німб та написи "ІС" і "ХС" ("Ісус Христос"). Ліворуч та праворуч від Христа, на протилежних берегах, стоять Іоанн Предтеча та три янголи. Іоанн Предтеча покладає руку на голову Спасителя. Зображення Іоанна Хрестителя ростове, у звороті 3/4 ліворуч, одягнутий у брунатний хітон та зелений гіматій, навколо голови круглий німб. Янголи зображені у звороті 3/4 ліворуч, одягнуті в хітони і гіматії. Двоє янголів вбрані у зелені хітони та червоні гіматії, а третій - у червоний хітон і зелений гіматій. У простягнутих до Ісуса Христа руках тримають білі покрови. У верхній частині ікони по центру над хмарами поясне зображення Бога Отця, з довгим сивим волоссям та широкою бородою, у білому одязі. Він обома руками благословляє, навколо голови круглий німб, у який вписані перехрещені ромби зеленого та червоного кольорів. Від його фігури відходять променя сяйва, ліворуч та праворуч над плечима написи церковнослов'янською мовою: "Господь Наш". Від Бога Отця на Ісуса Христа сходить Святий Дух у вигляді голуба, що повторює німб Господа, з трьома червоними променями. Обабіч фігури Бога Отця поміщений напис: "Богоявлення Господа Нашого Ісуса Христа". Ікона має неглибокий ковчег та широку рамку темно-брунатного кольору. На звороті ікона скріплена двома горизонтальними і двома торцевими урізними шпонками. Ікона належала до довоєнної колекції Музею Слобідської України імені М.Ф. Сумцова. Легенда: Ікона "Богоявлення" або "Хрещення Господнє" - це священий образ, який показує хрещення Ісуса Христа Іоанном Предтечею у річці Йордан, коли людям явилася Пресвята Трійця: Син, Святий Дух у вигляді голуба та голос Бога Отця з небес. Перед цією іконою моляться про духовне просвітлення, зміцнення віри та зцілення від душевних і тілесних хвороб. In their hands, stretched toward Christ, they hold white coverings. At the top of the icon, at the center, above the clouds, is a half-length image of God the Father, with long gray hair and a broad beard, in white garments. He blesses with both hands; around his head is a round halo, within which are inscribed crossed rhombuses of green and red. Rays of radiance emanate from his figure; to the left and right, above his shoulders, are the Church Slavonic inscriptions: "Our Lord." From God the Father, the Holy Spirit descends upon Christ in the form of a dove, echoing the Lord's halo, with three red rays. On either side of God the Father's figure is the inscription: "The Theophany of Our Lord Jesus Christ." The icon has a shallow recessed "ark" and a wide dark-brown frame. On the reverse, the icon is reinforced with two horizontal and two end inset battens. The icon belonged to the pre-war collection of the M. F. Sumtsov Sloboda Ukraine Museum. Legend: the icon "Theophany," or "Baptism of the Lord," is a sacred image showing the baptism of Jesus Christ by John the Baptist in the Jordan River, when the Holy Trinity was revealed to the people: the Son, the Holy Spirit in the form of a dove, and the voice of God the Father from heaven. The faithful pray before this icon for spiritual enlightenment, the strengthening of faith, and healing from illnesses of soul and body.
