У центрі композиції- розп'ятий на хресті Ісус Христос, зображений у звороті 3/4 ліворуч у стегновому покрові та з опущеною на груди головою. Праворуч біля хреста- апостол Іоанн Богослов, улюблений учень Ісуса Христа, зображений на повний зріст, у звороті 3/4 ліворуч, у хітоні і гіматії, його ліва рука опущена, права рука простягнута до хреста. Поряд праворуч- римський імператор Костянтин Великий, зображений на повний зріст, у звороті 3/4 ліворуч, у саккосі і короні. Позаду- мати імператора Костянтина Олена у багатому облаченні, на голові корона, зображення поясне, у звороті 3/4 ліворуч. Ліворуч від хреста першою зображена на повний зріст, у звороті 3/4 праворуч Божа Мати у туніці і мафорії, її голова нахилена, ліва рука притиснута до грудей, права рука простягнута до хреста. Ліворуч від Богоматері- архангел Михаїл в обладунках, зображений на повний зріст, у звороті 3/4 праворуч, у правій руці він тримає вогняний меч, у лівій- щит, голова трохи нахилена. Ззаду праворуч поясне, у звороті 3/4 праворуч зображення святого [Миколая], ліворуч від якого головне, у звороті 3/4 праворуч зображення Марії Магдалини у білому убрусі на голові. Навколо голів святих німби. У підніжжя хреста- Адамова голова. Угорі над хмарами у сяйві - зображення Бога-Отця Саваофа з піднятими вгору для благословення руками. По периметру ікони- рамка з рослинним орнаментом. У живопису переважають жовто- брунатні кольори. Дошка ікони посилена двома врізними шпонками. Ікона була передана до музею громадянкою Горюткіною С.П. у 1990 р. At the center of the composition is Christ crucified, shown in a three-quarter turn to the left, wearing a loincloth, his head bowed onto his chest. To the right of the cross is the Apostle John the Theologian, Christ's beloved disciple, shown full-length in a three-quarter turn to the left, wearing a chiton and himation, his left hand lowered, his right hand stretched toward the cross. Beside him, further right, is the Roman Emperor Constantine the Great, shown full-length in a three-quarter turn to the left, wearing a sakkos and a crown. Behind him is Constantine's mother, Helena, in rich vestments with a crown on her head, shown half-length in a three-quarter turn to the left. To the left of the cross, closest to it, is the full-length figure of the Mother of God, in a three-quarter turn to the right, wearing a tunic and maphorion, her head bowed, her left hand pressed to her chest, her right hand stretched toward the cross. To the left of the Mother of God is the Archangel Michael in armor, shown full-length in a three-quarter turn to the right, holding a fiery sword in his right hand and a shield in his left, his head slightly bowed. Further back, to the right, is a half-length image, in a three-quarter turn to the right, of Saint [Nicholas], to whose left is a bust-length image, also in a three-quarter turn to the right, of Mary Magdalene with a white veil on her head. Halos surround the heads of the saints. At the foot of the cross is the skull of Adam. Above, amid clouds and radiance, is an image of God the Father, Lord of Sabaoth, his hands raised in blessing. Around the perimeter of the icon is a frame with a floral ornament. Yellow-brown tones predominate in the painting. The icon panel is reinforced with two inset battens. The icon was donated to the museum by citizen S. P. Horiutkina in 1990.
