Ліворуч від Нього сидить Божа Мати, яка дивиться на Дитя, її права рука притиснута до грудей, у лівій - пелена, простягнута до голови Ісуса Христа. Вона одягнута у блакитний хітон, на голові - білий убрус з червоними цятками, поверх якого малиновий мафорій з золотистою облямівкою, що покриває її коліна. Навколо голови Діви Марії круглий золотистий німб з тонкою білою смугою, над яким розташований напис церковнослов'янською мовою: "Мати Божа". За спиною Богоматері стоїть Йосип, з притиснутою правою рукою до грудей. У нього сиве волосся, зачесане назад, довгі вуса та борода; одягнутий у блакитний хітон і жовтий гіматій. Навколо голови Йосипа круглий золотистий німб з тонкою білою смугою, над яким - напис церковнослов'янською мовою: "Святий Преподобний Йосип". Позаду Йосипа - стіна печери. Праворуч від Немовля зображений молодий пастух, який Йому вклоняється, склавши руки у молитовному жесті. У нього довге хвилясте світло-брунатного кольору волосся, одягнутий у брунатний хітон і сірий гіматій. Позаду ясел з Немовлям стоїть літній пастух, який обома руками спирається на ціпок. У нього довге хвилясте волосся, що почало сивіти, довгі сиві вуса та борода, одягнутий брунатний хітон і черовний гіматій. Позаду постаті пастуха - невисока кладка стіни білого кольору та фрагментарне зображення деревяного даху з підпорками. На задньому плані - зелені пагорби, праворуч від яких кам'яні міські будівлі. На темно-синьому небі Вифлеємська зірка, сяйво якої направлене на Немовля Ісуса Христа. Угорі по центру ікони напис: "Рождество Христово" ("Різдво Христове"). Ікона була передана до музею харків'янкою Філатовою Марією Тихонівною у 1991 р. Ікона побутувала у мешканців с. Білий Колодязь Краснокутського району Харківської області. Легенда: Свято Різдва Христового входить до числа дванадесятих свят і є одним із найважливіших у християнському календарі. Ікона «Різдво Христове» має особливе значення, адже нагадує про народження Сина Божого, який прийшов у світ заради спасіння людства, щоб Своєю жертвою звільнити людей від влади гріха і смерті та відкрити їм шлях до вічного життя. Перед цим образом моляться про народження й здоров'я дітей, щастя в родині, захист від зла та зміцнення віри. Behind the shepherd's figure is a low course of white masonry and a fragmentary depiction of a wooden roof with supports. In the background are green hills, to the right of which are stone city buildings. In the dark-blue sky is the Star of Bethlehem, its radiance directed toward the Infant Jesus Christ. At the top center of the icon is the inscription: "The Nativity of Christ." The icon was donated to the museum by Maria Tykhonivna Filatova of Kharkiv in 1991. The icon was in use among residents of the village of Bilyi Kolodiaz, Krasnokutsk district, Kharkiv region. Legend: the Feast of the Nativity of Christ is among the Twelve Great Feasts and one of the most important in the Christian calendar. The icon "Nativity of Christ" holds special significance, recalling the birth of the Son of God, who came into the world for the salvation of humanity, to free people from the power of sin and death through his sacrifice and to open for them the way to eternal life. Before this image, the faithful pray for the birth and health of children, happiness in the family, protection from evil, and the strengthening of faith.
