Description

The Torah crown is metal, made in two colors: a gold-toned base with silver-toned openwork applied decoration in the form of lush acanthus leaves and small flowers. The crown's construction consists of a wide band with six arcs attached to it and an applied plate at the top, at the point where the arcs meet. All the main joins of the crown's components are made on a screw fitting.

The Torah crown belonged to the pre-war collection of the Sloboda Ukraine Museum named after H. S. Skovoroda. During the Second World War it was evacuated and returned to Kharkiv in November 1944.
