Description

The icon shows a full-length image of Saint Anastasia and, in the clouds, Jesus Christ blessing her. The saint is shown against a landscape background, in a three-quarter turn to the left, wearing a chiton, maphorion, [klobuk], and orarion. She stands looking at Christ, her right hand slightly raised, her left hand, palm open, bent at the elbow. Around her head is a round halo, above which is the Church Slavonic inscription: "Venerable Anastasia." Christ wears a chiton and himation, blessing Saint Anastasia with his right hand. Above Christ's head is a halo, his figure surrounded by radiant rays. The background of the icon is golden, with a winding floral ornament. The figures of Anastasia and Christ are set within an arch, surrounded by a geometric ornament.

The icon was in use in the village of Tsybivka, [Krasnokutsk] district, Kharkiv region, and was donated to the museum in 1977.
