About the exhibition

The M. F. Sumtsov Kharkiv Historical Museum invites you to the exhibition “Benediction” — a personal art project by our chief artist, who publishes under the pseudonym Normanna.

The exhibition is about a path to oneself through creativity, imagination and a world that once became a source of inspiration for a whole generation. The works combine the atmosphere of fantasy, digital culture, childhood memories, inner experiences and a search for one’s own identity.

The title “Benediction” stands for a blessing — the moment when a person finds what helps them believe in themselves, create and move forward. Through images of childhood, play, fantasy and emotion, the author speaks about things close to many: fears, dreams, loneliness, hope and the power of imagination.

The exhibition shows how contemporary digital culture and personal experience can become part of museum space, creating a new format of dialogue with a young audience.

We invite you to visit the exhibition and see a world in which art, memory and fantasy are woven into one story.
