Description
Rushnyk made of homespun bleached linen canvas, embroidered with red and blue threads in a stylized floral ornament: 'tree of life,' two birds between small floral branches, and two bowls with a cross between them. Along the vertical edges, a wide ornamental band features a serrated rectangle with sparse flower-'stars.' Legend: Part of the collection of the Museum of Sloboda Ukraine named after H.S. Skovoroda.
