Description

Straight-cut 'dodiltna' shirt, body sewn from two panels. Straight sleeve with an insert, sewn along the weft, gathered at the bottom into fine pleats using the 'sewing to the collar' technique, with a narrow hem stitched with a machine seam and a single 'vystih' stitch. The hem's edge is decorated with teeth made of a 'single prutyk.' The sleeve and inserts are sewn with two machine seams. The body and inserts are gathered near the neckline into fine pleats using the 'sewing to the collar' technique. The neckline is 'kare' (square) with a central front slit (27 cm long), finished with a narrow hem with a single 'vystih' stitch and a machine seam. The hem's edge features teeth made of a 'single prutyk.' The shirt is adorned with geometric and stylized floral embroidery. The neckline hem has a chain stitch in pale green and pale pink threads. The sleeve hem is embroidered with a geometric 'checkerboard' pattern (pale green and pink threads). The insert and upper sleeve feature parallel stripes of stylized flower and leaf patterns, embroidered in dark green and lilac threads (0.7 cm wide). The lower hem has a stripe of dark green thread embroidery in a diamond and swirl pattern (0.6 cm wide) and a 'single prutyk' openwork stitch with a laid thread.
